Complaints are reports from owners of this model year, not findings about any particular vehicle, and a model that sold in large numbers will collect more of them. They are counted here as filed; nothing is inferred from them.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Non-functioning brake lights, rear markers, or turn signals can reduce vehicle visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

21V9650002021-12-13

FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM:FUEL RAIL

A high pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:DISC:CALIPER

The loose bolt could result in the other caliper bolts to loosen. Insufficiently tightened bolts may not provide adequate clamping force between the brake caliper and brake anchor plate, resulting in reduced brake effectiveness, increasing the risk of a crash.

Two 2021 FCCC XCPs can have entirely different histories, and a recall campaign usually covers a build-date window rather than a whole model year — which a VIN does not encode, so only the door-jamb label settles it. Scanning the VIN adds the decode, the crash tests, the fuel economy and the complaints matched to that exact engine, trim and assembly plant.
